Hello to all Clash of Clans players, this is my first th10 war base design article. It would be nice if you could leave a like after reading this article and share it with your clan mates. Please comment on any tips or feedback you have for me.
First off all, th10 war base designs are meant to act as a massive blockade holding off any attacking troops. The goal is to stop your opponent dead in their tracks.

Now remember no th10 war base design will work with every attack, so you will need to learn how to properly scout your enemy and then on the opposite end know all possible attacks that can be thrown against this specific base design. This takes time but over time you’ll get better and better at knowing when to change your town hall 10 war base design depending on the enemy clan.

Every one of my th10 war bases currently is housed by maxed out TH 10’s but can be used for any level. The layouts vary from attacks coming in every different direction, so you will need to learn how to defend against them all. These bases are aimed to help protect your resources and give your clan a better war performance rating.

I have found out that lower level players will adapt their attacks depending on what you used in the previous match, so think a bit when changing a base design. The best way is usually just to do something different each time so they cannot predict your next move.

Once you have your enemy TH cornered on one side of the map, you can then use your bowler-witches combo to take out their wall. As seen in some of my base designs below this will sometimes force an entire section open for your giants/goblins to come through and start cleaning up.
This guide focuses on how to defend in all situations when you cannot stop your enemy at the bridge. The main defence is of course the hidden teslas, these are what will deal with most troops that go for resource bases over trophies.

However if they go trophy hunting then sometimes an exposed tesla is not enough to hold them off. This is when you will need a back up plan, in most cases a few extra traps or wizards placed carefully can be the difference between stopping them in their tracks and having to watch your loot get stolen right in front of your eyes.

A lot of high-end players will try to use dragons/loons if they find out that there is no tesla down that path. The top section of this base design has no teslas facing the outside so you will need to monitor what your enemy throws at you. Luckily there are 2 double giant bomb spots so if they only have 1 air defence their dragons will get slaughtered.

If your enemy loons on one side you can drop a few archers/wizards to take them out before they reach the core of your base. Inferno towers are very weak against loons so keep that in mind if using this type of design.

When dealing with these bases it’s all about the timing and reactions you give your troops. The best advice I can offer is to use a testing clan to learn from other people what works best against these base designs, especially if you’re in a lower league.

Over time you will hopefully get better at timing when to drop your archers/wizards etc , who knows you might even get to a point where these bases won’t stand a chance against you!
